I thought about pairing the clear AB crystal with sterling silver but I thought to myself that perhaps something more unusual was called for. Don't misunderstand me, clear crystal and sterling silver or gold is beautiful, but how often do you see clear crystal paired with bright copper? I had to try it and I loved it! These earrings are quite petite measuring about 1 1/2 inches from the top of the copper french earwire. I used a Czech glass clear crystal with an AB finish flower with a bright copper rose nestled in the bottom. Inside the rose is a small clear AB Celestial crystal. On top of the Czech glass flower is a hat made from copper in what is called a grape design. On top of that, I added another bright copper rose. Inside of this rose, I could've put another small clear AB crystal but nope! I wanted something bolder so I added a bicone Swarovski crystal that is clear with an AB finish. The french earwires are unusual in that the ball is on the end rather than on the shank. At the widest point of these petite earrings, it measures about 3/8 inch. These would be perfect for a bride that wants something unusual and extraordinary or for anyone who wants an earring that does not follow the norm of things in design.
