Botswana agate is the gemstone for people who are sensitive and lonely or easily hurt. It will help you have more self-satisfaction and protect you from hurt as well as warding off the "evil eye". After I made this earring, I took it and several others to show to a friend. This is the one she kept going back to again and again to hold and feel. Without even knowing it, she was picking up the vibrations it gave off the ones that protect you from hurt. These earrings are very small. I started with a small 8 millimeter square of botswana agate. This agate has a high polish and shine to it shimmers. I added a Bali sterling silver rondelle granulated cap to the top and bottom of the stone which gives it elegance and refinement. Because of the simple design, I decided to just use a classic french earwire made from sterling silver in the classic ball and coil design. The length on these earrings from the top of the french earwire is about 1 1/2 inches. It is approximately 3/8 inches wide. This is truly a classic earring that can be handed down for generations.
