Square, cushion cut amethyst stones with a sterling silver hat in a rope and ball design sit on the top and the bottom of the amethyst stone. The sterling silver french hook ear wires are in the ball and coil design. The length of the earrings is 1 1/2 inches. Square, cushion cut amethyst stones with a deep purple color, have a width of 3/8 inches. On the top and bottom of the amethyst stones is a sterling silver hat that is done in the rope and ball design. The french hook ear wires are sterling silver and sport a ball and coil on the shank. The earring length is 1 1/2 inches. These earrings are fairly small but make a big statement simply because they are fairly large for real amethyst stones! They are simple and quietly elegant. Beautiful to wear to the office, a formal event or put these on when you need to dress western because nothing is prettier with turquoise than amethyst.
