Fuschite is a relatively new mineral find. It is said to speed up physical and emotional healing as well as activating a passion for living life fully. I can't attest to this but I do know a beautiful stone when I see it. This fuschite contains small flecks of ruby as well as mica which gives it quite a shine. It is large and is a full 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It hangs from a decorative sterling silver bale. At the bottom of the fuschite is a sterling silver bead to correspond with the decorative sterling silver bale and then an aurora borealis emerald bicone swarovski crystal. The centerpiece has a total drop of 3 inches. On each side of the sterling silver decorative bale, is more sterling silver which makes this necklace even more special. The leather cord is the finest leather available and is Greek leather. On each end of the leather is a sterling silver stamped end. One of these has a sterling silver swivel toggle clasp and the other has a large link sterling silver chain which is what makes this necklace adjustable from 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 inches. I could have just stopped the necklace right there and it would have been just fine. Fine was not good enough for this one though. It needed to be excellent so I added a large teardrop shaped ruby in fuschite stone to the end of the chain. This necklace is not ordinary and anyone who sees it will know how truly special it is.
