The custom designed necklace and earrings set pictured, originally came from Paris France. Unfortunately, the construction was of such poor quality that the necklace never made it back to the United States in one piece. The metal was a silver color but was not sterling silver. I was originally asked to repair this necklace but because of the construction, it would break again; it was just a matter of time. Unfortunately, I can't show you a picture of the original necklace since it was broken when I received it. The owner of the necklace loved the glass beads which are what originally drew her to the necklace. Since the beads were copper and black, I told her that I felt a copper metal would be what would bring out the beauty of the glass beads. I designed the necklace in a different way than the original yet I kept the length the same as well as the two-strand look. I also took two of the glass beads and made her earrings to wear with her newly designed necklace. The look is far more glamorous than the original and the copper metal is far more beautiful with the copper and black glass beads than the original silver metal could ever be. If you have stones or glass beads that you love but the necklace is broken, it's possible that we could make a design that is even better than the original. We also make designs simply from someone saying, "I want an ankle bracelet in a blue color with a sterling silver cross dangling from it". We try to take your thoughts and turn it into an imaginative, elegant design fit for the beautiful woman that you are. Please note that while we can make 14kt gold jewelry, due to the high price of gold, we reserve this only for custom orders. Gold is becoming very hard to find for jewelry design so we do prefer to stick with sterling silver, argentium (non-tarnish) silver and copper. Please be aware that copper and sterling silver do tarnish and that we recommend storing them in plastic ziplock bags to retard tarnishing.   * On all Custom orders, a 50% materials deposit is required. * * Please allow a minimum of 2-4 weeks for delivery on all Custom orders.
